While the lyrics don’t delve too deeply into any specific narrative, the lively melody creates a jubilant mood, making it perfect for any celebration. Its lasting appeal proves that "September" is much more than just a catchy tune.

2. "Wake Me Up When September Ends" by Green Day (2004)

Green Day's emotional ballad "Wake Me Up When September Ends" was released in 2004 as part of their album American Idiot. Sinatra’s 1946 version became one of the most famous renditions of this classic. The song reflects on the passage of time and the fleeting nature of youth, with September serving as a metaphor for the latter stages of life. Rosanne's gentle vocals blend beautifully with Johnny's deep, weathered voice, creating a moving tribute to their shared experiences and love. The lyrics convey a sense of inevitability and grace in the face of life’s natural cycle, making it one of the most introspective and poignant songs about September. It's a deeply personal track that resonates with anyone confronting loss or change.

8. "September Grass" by James Taylor (2002)

Beliau tersenyum ketika saya sebut Thai Tea, "this name Tea, only Tea" ujarnya lagi.
